It’s been two years since Britney was free to defend herself or those around her without censorship or an interview scripted by Britney the Brand management. FNS covers stories ignored, omitted or distorted by tabloids and mass media. Now Courtney Love Cobain is a part of that coverage as a further example of how media works.
It has never been FNS’s model to be exclusive to Britney stories. Hence Fair News Spears and not Fair Britney News or the like.

Thank you. That’s why I started fact checking. I felt spun out by media after finding out a few things.

Hi Carmella,
Great to see all you are doing. So sad to see Britney with her court/father-appointed boyfriend/manager.
If you need any editorial help, I would be happy to volunteer. I have 15+ years of experience editing books and national magazines and am very interested in what is happening to Britney and Courtney.
Thanks,
Claire

Thank you. I am not sure what that would entail?
I spent the morning reading Nicki Finke’s blogs on Pellicano, Howard Weitzman and company. Fascinating. http://www.deadline.com Her writing and content add credibility to Courtney’s claims. I really hope she picks up the story.
I also noticed her style in bluntly confronting the media, e.g., “They Los Angeles Times deliberately omitted…” and she backs it up. I would like to develop a stronger voice like hers. She’s confident she’s has every right.
About Britney, if they would just let her talk and/or be a witness in court, I and others wouldn’t worry so much. Every effort to get her to testify has been thwarted in the court. What is it that she might say that her keepers don’t want us to hear? If her signature was forged on court documents that might have enabled her to have new representation then why weren’t we flat out told they were forgeries?
John Anderson might have been successful but his story was buried under the headlines of Britney Spears get restraining orders against ex-boyfried and ex-manager. The AP has never corrected the story nor apologized for misrepresenting the facts. I know because I confronted them. Afterward they reported that the conservators had sought the TROs.
